Welcome to Manatee Mental Health “MMH”!
Steph (she/her) offers psychotherapy services to teens 14+, adults, and families. If you or your teen are struggling with any of the following concerns, Steph may be the right fit to walk with you through your therapeutic journey. Concerns may include; Anxiety, OCD, rumination, depression, PTSD, trauma-related symptoms, chronic pain, grief, unmanaged stress, body-image, gender and sexuality, and life transitions. Steph’s areas of special interest include; LGBTQIA+ community, teens and young adults, intrusive thoughts and compulsions, trauma-work, and issues relating to womanhood. Steph believes in the importance of the brain-body connection and uses modalities that support that belief.
Steph has a strong passion for working with teens. In order to build a strong therapeutic relationship, Steph asks that the teen has some desire to attend therapy. It can be hard for a teen (or anyone) to open up to a stranger. Steph gets that. She works hard to ensure therapy is a safe place for clients to be themselves.
Steph is not currently accepting new clients needing couples therapy, therapy to children under 14, or court-mandated treatment.
Are you ready to start healing? There’s no time like the present, contact Steph today to start your therapeutic journey.
